I'm a senior this year, and love rowing as much as I did when I began rowing in freshman year. My favorite memory with Broad Run Crew was winning a bronze medal in States for the Men's JV 4 category, but every race has been amazing and fun, even if sometimes it was because of the trauma bonding when we lose. Crew has truly been an amazing aspect of my life that I'm genuinely really happy to help others find for themselves. Feel free to talk with me if you have any questions ever, whether you're on the team, or are just curious about rowing!
I'm a senior this year and I joined the rowing team when I was a sophomore. I’m a coxswain, so my role and responsibilities encompass a side of rowing that not a lot of people know about or recognize. My job is to motivate, create race plan strategies, lead the rowers through training, and assist the coaches. My favorite things about crew are the friendships I’ve made and bonds I’ve built; through the sport I have found some lifelong friends that are always teaching me and inspiring me to grow.
I'm a senior at Broad Run High School. I've been on the team since sophomore year, and I love rowing because of the strong sense of community and teamwork that is found on the water, and the reward of hard work. I also play and teach piano in my downtime.
I’m a senior this year at Broad Run and have been rowing all four years. I love the sport of rowing because of the unique style of teamwork it takes to succeed. I am also a student at Northern Virginia Community College for welding.
