• Congratulations to the M-2-4+ boat on winning a BRONZE MEDAL on Day 2 of Virginia Scholastic Rowing State Championships on Saturday! Way to go!
• Great job to our M-1-4+ boat on winning first in their heat and racing in their semi-final, and excellent rowing by our W-1-4+ and W-2-4+ in their heats!

May 14 – 16, 2026 in Philadelphia, PA

• The week of the Stotesbury Cup Regatta has finally arrived! The team will meet at BRHS at 9:00 AM this Thursday, May 14 in the parking lot near the bleachers, with a departure time of 9:30 AM.
• Although the school has been informed of the athletes' participation, parents still need to report the Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15 absences by calling the main office or using the ParentVue app.
• Athletes, please coordinate directly with your teachers regarding any missing work or test make-ups.

Tuesday, May 19 @ 5:30PM at Reservoir Park

Families are invited to join the team on Tuesday, May 19 (rain date is May 20) at 5:30PM at Reservoir Park for our Class Day Race where each of our freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors team up and race each other – all in good BRC spirit! Who will win the trophy this year??

• Please join us for dinner and the team awards presentation on Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 6:30-8:30PM in the Broad Run High School cafeteria!  All team members, parents, and siblings are welcome to attend.

• Broad Run Crew is offering two weeks of our Learn to Row Summer Camp on June 15 - 19 OR June 22 - 26 from 7-9AM daily at Beaverdam Reservoir Park. All rising 8th-12th grade girls and boys may participate - no experience necessary. It's $150 for one week OR $250 for both weeks.*
• Please help spread the word by sharing the LTR flyer we emailed you last week (also posted on the BRC website homepage) on social media, community boards, and with other networks.
• Interested participants may register using the QR code on the attached flyer, or on the LTR Registration webpage. *

*All current BRC team members are welcome to participate in the Learn to Row camps for free. As we get closer to June, Coach Love will reach out to the team to see who may be interested in joining. There’s no need to register.
